ZigiOps enables organizations running large-scale AWS workloads to automate the full lifecycle of CloudWatch-driven incidents within ServiceNow, from alarm creation through to resolution and closure, without manual intervention at any stage. CloudWatch events covering EC2 state changes, Lambda function errors, RDS performance issues, and ECS task failures are automatically translated into structured ServiceNow incidents with all relevant AWS metadata preserved, giving ITSM teams the context they need to triage and route issues accurately. This automated, event-driven approach to cloud incident management reduces the operational overhead of monitoring large AWS environments and ensures consistent, audit-ready incident records for every cloud-layer disruption.
When Amazon CloudWatch triggers an alarm based on a metric threshold breach or composite alarm condition, ZigiOps automatically creates a ServiceNow incident with all relevant AWS context accurately mapped, including alarm name, affected resource, AWS region, account identifier, and severity. Cloud operations and IT teams can respond through their formal ITSM process immediately, without relying on manual alert monitoring or ad hoc ticket creation, and alarm resolution events from CloudWatch are synchronized back to ServiceNow to automatically close the linked incident. This integration ensures that AWS cloud disruptions are captured and governed within the enterprise ITSM framework alongside all other infrastructure incidents.
How the Integration Works
Start Syncing Data
Activate your integration and watch your data flow between systems in real time. Monitor sync status, review logs, and fine-tune settings as needed — all from a single UI.
Customise Your Integration
Tailor the integration to your exact needs using the no-code visual interface. Map fields across systems — ZigiOps supports text, numeric, date, dropdown, multi-select, checkbox, user/assignee, attachment, and custom fields.
Set sync direction (one-way or bidirectional), define filters to control which records sync, configure conflict resolution rules, and apply value transformations to ensure data consistency between platforms.
Choose an Integration Template
Select from a library of pre-built integration templates designed for the most common use cases. Each template comes with preexisting field mappings, filters, and sync rules ready to go.
Simply click "Enable" and the integration will start.
Connect Your Systems
Configure the connection to your source and target systems in ZigiOps.
Authentication is supported via basic credentials or OAuth, depending on the platform. We recommend creating a dedicated user account for ZigiOps to ensure clean audit trails and easier troubleshooting. The required permissions for this user will vary based on your specific integration use case.
Install ZigiOps or Login for SaaS
Download and install the ZigiOps integration platform on your preferred environment — on-premise or cloud.
The setup takes just a few minutes with no coding required.
