OBM receives a new event in the event browser. This event is then transferred to a connected server for ZigiOps. ZigiOps creates a new incident in ServiceNow, containing the OBM event details. The incident number is returned to the OMi event as an external ID.

The OBM event is then updated. This update is reported to the related incident in ServiceNow. Updates include lifecycle synchronization, regular fields, custom attributes, and annotations.

The ServiceNow incident is updated. ZigiOps automatically reports the update in the related event in OBM. Updates include lifecycle synchronization, regular fields, custom fields, and comments or work notes.
