Jira Cloud connects with OAuth 2.0: you sign in with your Atlassian account and approve the ZigiWave app, so no API token is needed. Jira Data Center and Server connect with Basic authentication. ServiceNow uses Basic or OAuth 2.0 with a dedicated integration user.
