Rather than treating each Zabbix alert as a standalone incident, organizations can use ZigiOps to identify and track systemic issues through ServiceNow's structured problem management workflow, driving long-term reliability improvements. Problem resolution data documented in ServiceNow can be synchronized back to Zabbix, providing a complete operational record that links monitoring history with ITSM remediation outcomes.
When Zabbix triggers a problem event based on host availability, performance thresholds, or network checks, ZigiOps automatically creates a corresponding ServiceNow incident with all relevant monitoring data mapped across, including problem description, affected host, severity, and trigger details. This removes the manual effort of converting Zabbix alerts into service desk tickets and ensures that IT operations teams have structured, actionable incident records the moment a problem is detected. Set sync direction (one-way or bidirectional), define filters to control which records sync, configure conflict resolution rules, and apply value transformations to ensure data consistency between platforms.
