ZigiWave ISO 27001 certified

We are happy to announce that we are now officially certified for ISO 27001 (formally known as ISO/IEC 27001:2005). ZigiWave has successfully passed the audit for ISO 27001 for an information security management system (ISMS). This is an internationally recognized standard and ensures that our integration platform ZigiOps, as well as all ZigiWave processes and services, meet the best practices for information security and risk management.

Most organizations have various information security controls. However, without an ISMS, controls tend to be incoherent and inconsistent, often implemented as solutions to specific situations, rather than as a protocol. This is why ISO/IEC 27001 defines an ISMS and requires that:

• An organizations management systematically examines information security risks, and acts upon threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts;
• There is a coherent and comprehensive suite of information security controls and/or other forms of risk treatment that is applied to address risks that are deemed unacceptable;
• The management ensures on an ongoing basis that the information security controls continue to meet the organization's information security needs.
