Step-by-Step Integration Guide

Step 1: Launch the ZigiOps Data Integration Tool

Open the ZigiOps UI, your centralized hub for managing system integrations. From here, you’ll connect SolarWinds and OBM in just a few clicks.

Step 2: Verify System Connections

Ensure both the SolarWinds and OBM connectors are active. ZigiOps validates access and confirms secure connectivity for both systems.

Step 3: Add a New Integration

Select a predefined integration template for SolarWinds to OBM. Each template comes with out-of-the-box:

Collection triggers
Data mappings
Delivery actions All templates are fully customizable to support complex integration logic.

Step 4: Configure Data Collection and Mapping

Fine-tune your integration by:

Setting the data collection conditions (e.g., alert severity, type)
Mapping fields like alert ID, description, severity, and timestamp
Defining correlation logic between source and destination events

Step 5: Activate the Integration

Once configured, enable the integration. ZigiOps will now automatically collect new alerts and deliver them to OBM in real time.

Step 6: Generate a Test Alert in SolarWinds

To see it in action, unmanage a monitored node in SolarWinds to trigger an alert. ZigiOps collects the alert, applies the configured mapping, and pushes it to OBM.

Step 7: View Synced Event in OBM

Check the OBM interface to see the alert — complete with all related metadata — now available for your operations team to act on.
