Daniel Kalchev - Product Manager

What was your best moment in Zigi in 2022?

Getting into the Product Manager role and syncing and working together with all ZigiWave teams.

What was the most challenging thing for you in the past year?

I became a father of my first child and managing that in combination with work was quite challenging, but very rewarding at the same time.

What would you wish to our readers for the upcoming holidays?

First and foremost health as this will enable everything else. Enjoy the holidays in peace and smiles with your loved ones.

Yanko Kostadinov - Technical Pre-Sales Consultant

What was your best moment in Zigi in 2022?

I can easily say that there have been many inspiring and insightful moments, which shaped my year as one of the best I've had in the industry. The company's employer branding values, the collective conscious of the organization, the priceless knowledge and experience we receive on a daily basis is shaping us to be better and better at what we love to do as professionals.

What was the most challenging thing for you in the past year?

Keeping my thoughts away from the global challenges we face as humans. This could be a big distraction, when it comes to concentrating on our day-to-day duties and focusing more on developing new and useful skills.

What would you wish to our readers for the upcoming holidays?

Time really speeds up while we get older and wiser. Make sure to take a deep breath once in a while and embrace the finest moments in life with your loved and close ones. Happy Holidays!

Yasen Dimitrov - Integration Engineers Team Lead

What was your best moment in Zigi in 2022?

Two things:

• Releasing ZigiOps on cloud, including the Remote Agent  it was a big challenge for everyone, but also a big step forward.
• The teambuilding where I met all my team members live.

What was the most challenging thing for you in the past year?

To stay sober while working on a big data migration scenario. I failed.

What would you wish to our readers for the upcoming holidays?

Happy and peaceful holidays! Health, prosperity, a lot of adventures and joy for the New Year!

Georgi Georgiev - Integration Engineer

What was your best moment in Zigi in 2022?

Since I work remotely because I dont live in Sofia, I have very few opportunities to meet my colleagues face-to-face. My best moment in ZigiWave in 2022 is the teambuilding we had in the Summer. It was the first time I met almost everyone, and we had lots of fun.

What was the most challenging thing for you in the past year?

In a personal plan, the most challenging thing in the past year for me was to start living healthier and exercise regularly again. During the pandemic, most of my healthy habits were destroyed and it was very hard for me to create them again.

What would you wish to our readers for the upcoming holidays?

For all readers, I wish a very cheerful and happy holidays with all their loved ones, and also a prosperous and amazing new year! Remember that a good person is the most important thing especially in the holidays and to your loved ones.

Yuner Bekir - Software Engineers Team Lead

What was your best moment in Zigi in 2022?

There have been a lot of great moments. My favorite ones are when we have satisfied a client request, and they are happy with the results.

What was the most challenging thing for you in the past year?

This year I switched to a new role and became a team lead of the ZigiWave connectors team. So maybe the biggest professional challenge was to get used to my new responsibilities and make sure I am a good leader of the team, and the biggest personal challenge for me was to find the right life-work balance together with that.

What would you wish to our readers for the upcoming holidays?

I hope you get time to spend with your family and enjoy the holidays!

Danny Simeonov - System Administrator

What was your best moment in Zigi in 2022?

Successfully completing our ISO 27001 certification. It is quite satisfying when you participate actively in an important project for the company and it gets done, so it was really a great moment for me.

What was the most challenging thing for you in the past year?

This would be again completing the ISO 27001 certification. It was quite challenging with lots of requirements for us, but we managed to meet them all and we got certified.

Ivaylo Mladenov - Software Engineers Team Lead

What was your best moment in Zigi in 2022?

The best moment for me in 2022 has to be the summer team-building. For one, the organization was perfect  location, events, games. Second, I had the chance to meet with some colleagues in person for the first time (that I couldnt in the past because of COVID and remote work). It was truly an amazing atmosphere, driven mostly by the positive and open-minded attitude of our staff. I personally, was very intrigued by the very interesting conversations and discussions that I had with almost everyone. The topics were all so different and eye-opening about how many interesting things there are in ones life. That just showed me how diverse our team is, with everyone bringing their own uniqueness to the grand scheme called ZigiWave.

What was the most challenging thing for you in the past year?

The biggest challenge for me was meeting the very demanding business needs. Fortunately, I had an amazing team behind my back to help me push beyond. The teamwork in ZigiWave is truly like nothing Ive seen anywhere else. Every individual in our team shows passion about his work, which I believe is because they feel they are growing and developing in their roles. And when all these efforts and emotions are pointed in the same direction, there are really no limits of how much we can achieve together. This is clearly evident in all the new features and improvements we introduced in our integration platform ZigiOps throughout this year.

What would you wish to our readers for the upcoming holidays?

To our readers, in these recently difficult times, I would like to say to be open-minded for the challenges ahead of them and open-hearted to the people around them. I wish everyone to stay safe and connected.
