Java / Clojure Developer

ZigiWave is an independent software vendor based in Sofia. Our product is an integration platform that connects the most commonly used enterprise tools in ITSM, ITOM, APM and DevOps. For our team we are now hiring a Clojure Developer who will be part of an international, cross-functional environment that encourages new ideas and provides ample opportunities for career evolution.
The Clojure Developer participates actively in the development of software products owned by the company together with a team of seasoned professionals.
Requirements
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Familiarity of different programming paradigms
- Understanding of Multi-Threading and problems
- Data structures and algorithms
Advantages
- Knowledge in CSS/HTML
- Experience with JavaScript/ClojureScript/Clojure programming
- Experience with working with databases (JDBC) and NOSQL Databases
- Experience with RESTful services
Responsibilities
- Programming in the ClojureScript/Clojure language
- Developing new functionalities and fixing bugs
- Software design and research of new technologies
- Participate in code reviews
- Pair Programming
